In this series of posts, we’ll explore the world of scintillation, starting at the most basic – how scintillation materials respond to radiation. While scintillators come in many forms – gas, liquid, solid, and both organic and inorganic – we will focus on inorganic crystal forms, a sweet spot for us since Hilger Crystals has grown crystals since the mid 1930’s .
